The air is cooling, the bees have done their work, and another season of Vinland Meads is ready to be shared. This fall, we’re proud to announce the Vinland Meads Heritage Club Release — a private collection crafted for those who raise a horn to patience, heritage, and true Texas honey wine.
This release brings together three of our most celebrated meads — plus an optional add-on from our newest limited batch, Thicket Wild Plum Mead. Each bottle was handcrafted at Vinland Meads using raw Texas honey, whole fruit, and time — no shortcuts, no stabilizers, and no mass production. Just honest mead, aged the old way.

Harvest Blackberry Mead
A Vinland favorite returns. Made with ripe East Texas blackberries and wildflower honey, this mead pours a deep ruby hue with a smooth balance of tart fruit and floral sweetness. Every sip carries a taste of summer’s warmth, finished with a clean, wine-like depth that’s both bold and refreshing.
Vixon Cinnamon Mead
The spice of the season. Real cinnamon sticks steeped in caramelized honey bring out a smooth, warming character that’s perfect for cool evenings. Rich, toasty, and layered with subtle notes of toffee and oak — this mead belongs by the fire or beside a hearty meal.
Heritage Reserve – Club Exclusive
This is where the heart of Vinland beats. Hand-selected by our mazer/brewer Clyde Hays, Heritage Reserve is a traditional mead aged over 18 months in the Vinland cellar. Each bottle is signed, wax-sealed, and numbered by Clyde himself, chosen for its exceptional body, deep honey profile, and smooth finish.
This reserve mead is not available to the public online— it is offered only to members of the Vinland Meads Heritage Mead Club, and in person. Each bottle represents the patience and craftsmanship at the core of everything we do.
Add-On Option: Thicket Wild Plum Mead
For this season only, members may add the limited Wild Plum Mead — “Thicket” — to their order. Crafted from wild Texas plums foraged from the Cotton Family’s grove in Edom, this small-batch release brings forward notes of tart fruit, floral honey, and a deep amber tone that captures the heart of autumn. Supplies are limited, and once it’s gone, it’s gone.
