Our Kitchen Is Just Getting Started
Our current menu is a carefully crafted limited selection designed to pair perfectly with our handcrafted meads while we continue growing the Vinland Meads experience. From artisan flatbreads and charcuterie boards to locally sourced ingredients and fresh baked sourdough, every item is chosen with sharing, gathering, and great conversation in mind.
As we expand, our kitchen will evolve alongside us with rotating specials, seasonal offerings, new handcrafted dishes, and chef-inspired creations added regularly. No two visits will stay the same for long, and we invite you to grow with us as the menu continues to take shape here in downtown Murchison.
Mead, Wine & Crafted Drinks
At Vinland Meads, every pour tells a story. Our rotating selection of handcrafted meads ranges from traditional honey-forward classics to bold melomels layered with blackberry, blueberry, cherry, cinnamon, plum, and other seasonal flavors inspired by old-world recipes and East Texas ingredients.
Guests can explore the lineup through curated mead flights, discover new favorites by the glass, or enjoy specialty crafted drinks like our signature Mead Mimosas. Whether you prefer something rich and velvety, bright and fruity, smooth and spiced, or lightly floral, there is always something new waiting on tap.
We are also proud to feature select Texas wines from fellow local producers, bringing together great mead, great wine, and great company under one roof in downtown Murchison. Our taps, flights, and seasonal offerings continue to evolve as we expand, so every visit brings a chance to experience something different.
Take the Experience Home
Found a favorite? Most of our meads are also available by the bottle so you can bring the experience home, share it with friends, or build your own collection. From signature staples like Heritage and Harvest to rotating seasonal releases and limited small-batch creations, there is always something worth stocking for the next gathering, feast, or quiet evening around the fire.
Every batch a story. Every sip a saga.
HAYS MANOR
&
Vinland Meads
Just down the road from our family farm, Hays Manor, Vinland Meads is deeply rooted in the land, traditions, and craftsmanship that shape every bottle we produce. Hays Manor is home to our Scottish Highland cattle, falconry program, and working bee apiary where thousands of bees produce the honey that serves as the foundation of our handcrafted meads.
While our tasting room now welcomes guests in downtown Murchison, the spirit of the farm remains at the heart of everything we do. From the honey gathered at the apiary to the heritage and storytelling woven into each mead, Vinland Meads carries the character of East Texas and the traditions of old-world mead making into every glass.
