VINLAND MEADS PRESENTS: COMEDY NIGHT
Three Texas Comics Take Over the Mead Hall
Friday, October 16, 2026 | 8:00 PM | $10 at the Door
Something different is coming to Murchison.
For one night, Vinland Meads is transforming the Mead Hall into a full-blown comedy venue, bringing together three working Texas stand-up comedians for a night of live comedy, food, mead, and a packed house.
And this isn't an open mic.
This isn't somebody telling jokes between songs.
This is a real stand-up comedy lineup, built from opener to feature to headliner.
⭐ HEADLINING: TYLER ELLIOTT
Tyler Elliott takes center stage as the headliner of Vinland Meads Comedy Night.
Tyler is a nationally touring stand-up comedian who has spent years building his act where it matters most: on stage, in front of live audiences across the country.
His comedy combines sharp writing, an offbeat perspective, and a deceptively laid-back delivery that can take a room from listening closely to roaring in seconds.
Tyler has performed at some serious comedy rooms, including The Improv, Hyena's Comedy Clubs, The Majestic, and clubs across the country.
There's a difference between being funny and being able to walk onto a stage, take control of a room full of strangers, and hold it through an entire headline set.
Tyler Elliott has put in the miles and the stage time to do exactly that.
On October 16, Tyler comes to Murchison to headline Vinland Meads Comedy Night, closing out an evening of Texas stand-up with the biggest set of the night.
🎤 FEATURING: JARED JORDAN
Setting the stage for Tyler is Jared, another working Texas comic bringing his own style and perspective to the Mead Hall.
Jared has been building his reputation through the Texas comedy scene, putting in the stage time and performing in front of audiences where comics actually earn their stripes.
He's quick, original, unpredictable, and brings a completely different energy to the bill.
That's exactly what we wanted.
This isn't three versions of the same comedian. It's three distinct performers, each taking the room somewhere different before handing the microphone to the next.
Jared takes the feature spot on October 16, warming up the Mead Hall before Tyler Elliott takes over.
🤘 NATHAN COLE WINSTEAD
Opening the show is a comedian many East Texas comedy fans may already recognize.
Nathan Cole Winstead brings rock-and-roll energy to stand-up comedy, mixing Southern grit, small-town absurdity, everyday life, and unapologetic humor into a style entirely his own.
Denim vest. Metal-head energy. Microphone in hand.
You get the picture.
Nathan has performed at Shark's Comedy Club in Dallas, one of the growing rooms in the DFW comedy scene, and has become a familiar face at Rose City Comedy Club in Tyler, where he's performed for East Texas audiences alongside other working and touring comedians.
He's also appeared with Game On, Crabs and Laughs and continues to work comedy stages throughout the region.
Nathan isn't simply opening this show, either.
He's helping build it.
Nathan and Vinland Meads have been working together behind the scenes to assemble a comedy lineup capable of turning a little Mead Hall in Murchison into a legitimate comedy room for the night.
And if October 16 goes the way we think it will, this may be the beginning of something much bigger.
A COMEDY CLUB... IN A MEAD HALL
That's the part we're most excited about.
You don't have to drive to Dallas.
You don't have to fight downtown traffic.
You don't have to pay big-city comedy club prices.
We're bringing the show here.
Come early. Have dinner. Order a flight. Find your favorite mead. Grab your seat.
Then at 8:00 PM, the microphones come on.
Three Texas comedians.
A headliner.
A packed Mead Hall.
Great food.
Plenty of mead.
And live stand-up comedy in Murchison, Texas.
