This Yule, we’re taking the celebration beyond the walls of the Mead Hall.
The Vinland Meads family will be attending the Yule Viking Festival on Saturday, December 19th, and we invite our friends, customers, and extended Vinland family to join us for one of the most spectacular nights of the festival: the Burning of the Long Ship at sunset.

Our crew back home will keep the taps flowing at Vinland Meads in Murchison during our normal Saturday hours. So whether you spend Yule with us around the fire in Gladewater or around a glass of mead at the Meadery, there will be a place for you.
YULE VIKING FESTIVAL
The Yule Viking Festival is hosted by Uppsala Events and runs on select weekends throughout December, bringing together Viking culture, merchants, food, entertainment, demonstrations, community, and Yule traditions.
On December 19th, the festival culminates in a special evening celebration with the Burning of the Long Ship at sunset, with festivities continuing into the evening.
