2026 Heritage Reserve- Traditional Mead

Reserve is the rarest expression of Vinland Meads.

Each year, during honey harvest, our head mead maker, Clyde Hays, walks the apiaries and personally selects a single exceptional honey from among all the hives. That chosen honey becomes the foundation for Reserve.

Crafted using the same traditional methods as our Heritage Mead, Reserve is then aged for a minimum of 18 months, allowing the character of the honey to fully develop into a rich, complex, and refined mead. Production is intentionally limited to just 200 bottles each year, making every vintage a true collector's release.

From selecting the honey to brewing, aging, bottling, labeling, and hand-waxing each bottle, every step of the process is completed by Clyde himself. His image appears on every bottle as a mark of that personal commitment and craftsmanship.

No two vintages are exactly alike. Each bottle captures a unique harvest, a unique honey, and a year of patient dedication.

Limited to 200 bottles annually.
Aged 18+ months.
Handcrafted from hive to bottle.
