July 22nd Release from Vinland Meads
The Hive Changes. So the Story Does Too.
At Vinland Meads, we don’t chase consistency—we celebrate change. On July 22nd, we’re releasing three new bottles that each tell a different story of the land, the bees, and the season:
Heritage 2025 – our traditional mead, renewed with a brighter spring honey
Crimson Dusk – bold black cherry, blended with deep, floral summer nectar
Violet Dawn – a tart blueberry melomel touched with light honey and subtle bloom notes
What ties them together? The honey. Or more precisely—how it’s different in each one.
🐝 Why Our Mead Changes Year to Year
The bees decide. As the flowers shift with the seasons—clover to wildflower, blackberry to goldenrod—so too does the flavor of their honey. And because we never blend bulk honey or chase a fixed formula, each batch of mead becomes a reflection of what the bees were harvesting at that moment.
That means every bottle you get from us is seasonal, story-driven, and unrepeatable.
We don’t use syrups, extracts, or artificial honey "flavor." Just real honey, from real hives, pulled at real moments in time.
🌾 July 22nd – What’s Pouring
HERITAGE 2025
A rebirth of our flagship traditional mead, this year’s batch features single-source blossom honey from Reed Honey Farm. Compared to last year’s richer wildflower profile, this one is lighter, more aromatic, with notes of citrus and spring bloom.
CRIMSON DUSK
A brooding black cherry mead with honey sourced in early summer—darker, deeper, and touched with oak pollen and wild Texas character. Caramelized in the brochet style, it finishes smooth and lingers like the last light of dusk.
VIOLET DAWN
Our blueberry melomel, crisp and tart, kissed with soft floral honey gathered just as the summer bloom took hold. It's light, bright, and perfect for early morning toasts or twilight sips.
🍷 No Two Vintages Are the Same
This isn’t mass-market mead. This is Texas honey wine made by hand, in small batches, one season at a time. Whether it’s the bees at Hays Manor or trusted partners like Reed Honey Farm, we follow the rhythm of the land—not the recipes of a factory.
That means when you drink a bottle of Vinland Meads, you’re not just tasting a flavor—you’re tasting a moment.
🛡 How to Get Yours
All three meads will be available Tuesday, July 22nd via our website and select in-person events. Quantities are limited, and once they’re gone, they won’t be back—because the honey will never be quite the same again.
